Changhua County (Zhnghuà Xiàn) is Taiwan's smallest county with a thriving agricultural industry. Yet, it faces an ongoing aging population crisis. In Changhua County, one out of every six people is an elderly person.

Many farmers find it difficult to pass on their family farm to the next generation. The Color of the Lands is a documentary that highlights various farming families from Greater Changhua County and explores the farmers' perspectives from older to younger generations.

We hope that by showing you this documentary in Changhua, we can bring more awareness to the topic of  regional revitalization.
